Camellia?

My sis-in-law loves flowers and plants of all kinds.

Six years ago, after I'd planted this, she came over

and remarked about it.  The conversation:

Me-"My new gardenia; in December I'll have pink flowers."

Her-"really?"

Me-"Yeah!"

Her-"this I want to see, I've never heard of a PINK gardenia."

DUH.

Why does everyone want to trip me up?
