I'm so often blown away by some of ya'll who
#1. Know how to cook #2 Like to cook
& #3 make such an awesome presentation!
So, this afternoon while mowing the weeds, weed whackin' the weeds,
and sweatin' like a hog, I said to myself "Honey, you can do that,
you can cook when you put my mind to to it!" Plus, I was starvin',
yardwork will do that to ya!
First, I had a problem!
I got ants in my pants.
No, for real; they climbed
on my feet, crawled clear up my
legs (which were in my pants).
I was runnin' around like a crazy person!
I was pullin' my clothes off as fast as I could
(thank the heavens I was in the backyard,
'cause, you know my neighbor, Buck, woulda
been hootin' and hollerin', laughin' and
then offering to help, the nice guy that he is.)
But, I was determined after my shower to make
an omlette to show off my skills.
Are you ready for this?
Get your pen & paper handy:
Crack two eggs, beat em a little
add touch of milk,
touch of salt & pepper
After beating:
add grated cheese.
Oh, and add a couple tbl spoons water.
My nephew, the chef, taught me that.
Okay, now add a couple tbl spoons
margarine/butter to a "warm"
not hot, skillet.
Don't let the margarine burn.
Like this:
Oops.
Then, very carefully add your omlette mixture.
I SAID carefully!
Nobody ever listens to me.
Perfect!
Yes!
